…I’m leaving, well, not quite today yet. But I am headed to NYC in the morning for some quality time with my main man Yuri. Only in a non-gay-sounding way.
When it comes to packing, I think there are three kinds of people. There are people who throw some things in a bag at the last minute and figure it will work itself out. Yuri, if our European travels are any indication, is one of those people. Then there are people who more or less know what they’re going to pack, and put it all together ahead of time so that they can be sure they haven’t forgotten everything. My parents (and, I suspect, most other people who travel frequently) are like that. Then there are the people for whom crossing state lines involves a degree of planning normally reserved for a space shuttle launch. I’m one of those people.
