Where to begin? I overslept this morning – always a good start. Went for a run, then to work. Meetings took up about five hours of the day but netted me a free lunch, so that balanced out. I spent the rest of the time researching documents with titles like “Urban Truck Accident Scenario” and checked out a little early. I decided to take the long, back roads home and got nailed by a cop as I was doing about 70 in a 55. He proceeded to write me a ticket… for Driving Under the Influence. WTF?!
Needless to say, I was not drunk. So I get to go to court on 2 August and defend myself against a fat-ass hillbilly cop who saw a kid in a nice car with out of state plates and decided to ruin my day.
